INH A bad 15-minute timer in the Unit 2 off-gas isolation circuitry I
is reported in a N X dated August 13, 1972.
(This was followed up by a letter dated August 17.) The timer motor was replaced.
INH A request for additional information regarding the condenser pipe ACRS room modifications is contained in a DL letter dated August 15, 1972.
INH Additional information on the control of electrical iumpers is ACRS contained in a CE letter dated August 15, 1972 FN 1 Apparent f ailure of a _iet pump during Unit 2 operation is reported in a WX dated August 22, 1972 and an RO report dated August 25.
The failure was noted in a flow imbalance between A & B loops shortly after recovery from a recirculation pump trip (28,000 g>m vs. 32,000 gpm). The reactor was shut down for investigation.
IMH In an August 24, 1972 letter, DL notes that Edison's plans are not l
ACRS acceptable in the followfng regards:
1.
The 100% power testing to be performed at 90% power.

The plan not to run a loss of main generator test at Unit 2.
3.
No reactor vessel internals vibration measurements at Unit 2.
CE was asked for justification on these proposals.
