(K M) 1901 Vacuum Breaker Modification Commonwealth Edison Company letter dated September 19. 1972 reports the schedule for torus vacuum breaker modifications.
All Unit 2 vacuum breakers will be modified before the plant returns to service for the current outage. Unit I will be modified by about October 15, 1972.

Quad Cites Unit 2 10 01 Jet Pump Failure ACRS Connonwealth Edison company letter dated Aunust 30. 1972 reports on the jet pump failure in Unit 2.
Jet Pump No. 17 was found displaced from its normal position and leaning against Jet Pump No.16; seven parts from No.17 are missing (bolts, keepers, c
locks, discs, etc.) All missing pieces wars found except for a disc.
The investigation is continuing and will be completed prior to plant startup.
