HMH Jet Pump Instrument Line Failure 9 3;:. '

ACRS Commonwealth Edison Company letter dated December 4 1972 reports the failure within the reactor vessel of a flow sensing line to '
l one jet pump. The sensing line is apparently open to annulus l
pressure and is being monitored weekly for any change. Nermal operations continue.
No ACRS action is recommended.
The enclosed material should be retained as part of the permanent record.

liMH Pressure Switch Setpoint Drift ACRS Commonwealth Edison Company letter dated December 5.1972 reports I
further on the drift in setpoint of the high steam flow switches (see Supplement No. 160, page 56). These are Barton switches (rather than Barksdale which have also tended to drif t). The drift in setpoint is considered to be relatively small and not of major significance.
Also included is a tabulation of test etsults from pressure switches from November 1, through November 21, 1972.
No ACRS action is recommended.

HMH Small Fire in RRR Service Water Pump Motor ACRS Commonwealth Edison Company letter dated December 20, 1972 reports a small fire in an RHR Service Water Pump Motor. The fire did no mechanical or electrical damage. It apparently originated in some 1
oil soaked noise insulation and was ignited by welding or cutting sparks. The oil is believed to have come from the basement flooding incident. The other LHR service water pump motors were inspected and found to be in excellent condition.
No ACRS action is recommended.
