Commonwealth Edison Company TWI dated January 19. 1973 repor d I that an ECCS Reactor Low Pressure Permissive pressure switch; actuated at 271 psig instead of 300-350 psig. The pressure -

switch was recalibrates and returned to service.

The Regulatory Staff is investigating the pressure switch set-point drift problem.

Commonwealth Edison Company letter dated January 25. 1973 reports further on the incident. The switch in question is a Barton Model 288. The calibration frequency has been it. creased from quarterly to biweekly.

No ACRS action 'Is recommended.

HMH MSIV Limit Switch Inoperable ACRS Commonwealth Edison Company 'lVX dated February 2.1973 reports that a limit switch on one MSIV was found to be inoperable its redundant backup is operable and its instrument channel has been tripped for safety by removing a fuse.

No ACRS action is recomended.
