OCT I O 1995 Reaional Office Notice No. 0511. Rev.1 READINESS FOR RESTART OF BR0WNS FERRY UNIT 3 A.
Puroose:
To inform the Region !! staff of the pending restart for Browns Ferry Unit 3 in the near future and to identify issues that may be adverse to plant operation which have not previously been identified.
B.
Discussign:
As the restart date of this facility approaches, it becomes essential that all issues, which may impact on the restart, are promptly identified.
However, in the event that issues exist w;lch have not been identified to management and which could impact on the_ restart of this facility, this Notice affords the technical staff another opportunity to bring those issues to the attention of management.
C.
Action:
Any member of the technical staff who has performed inspections or evaluatioris of the licensee's performance, or has information concerning this facility that causes concern with regard to restart of the facility, should contact their Branch Chief immediately.
Since restart of Browns Ferry Unit 3 is anticipated to occur in November 1995, it is requested that your comments be received by October 31, 1995.
Items identified as a result of this Notice are to be brought to the attention of the DRP Director by the Director of the affected Divisions.
