BEAVER VALLEY UNIT 2, ONSITE REVIEW BY THE SEISMIC OVALIFICATION REVIEW TEAM (SQRT) AND PUMP AND VALVE OPEPABILITY REVIEW TEAM (PVORT)

In response to your letter dated June 4, 1986, we held a meeting with your staff and contractor personnel on July 23, 1986, in preparation for the SQRT and PVORT onsite review. As a result of the meeting, we agreed that the subject onsite review will take place during September 30 to October 3,1986.

The SQRT and PVORT will consist of the following personnel: Goutam Bagchi, Armando Masciantonio and Shou-Nien Hou of NRC, and Clarke Kido, H. Lowell Magleby, Greg K. Miller, Bob L. Harris, Richard G. Rahl, Howard M. Stromberg, Gary L. Thinnes and Jag N. Singh of EG8G Idaho, Inc.

Please assure that these personnel be granted the necessary security passes, and be accompanied.by your personnel who are familiar with the site.

In addition, we expect to take photographs at various locations and therefore, we will need to have camera 4

passes.

We will contact your staff (E. Eilmann and R. Martin) by phone to work out additional details of this site review. Thank you for your cooperation.
