If a drawing consists of several sheets, all sheets of the drawing should be provided. . As a minimum, the drawings should include the -following information:

(a)' All package dimensions and tolerances; (b) Material specifications for every component of the package design; (c) The standards and procedures that will be used for fabrication, welding and inspecting-the package; (d). The size, type and iocation of the welds; e) The total weight of the package; f) The weight and dimensions of the depleted uranium shield; and g) The location of the tamper indication feature.

2. If the Model No. 660A- packaging is to be retrofitted with the automatic locking mechanism and if there is to be continued use of the old package design, provide a complete set of drawings for both the old package design and the modified package design. Each set of drawings should have a unique drawing number or. revision number.

3. Specify the. maximum quantity of Ir-192 (in Curies) that will be used in the Model No. 660A' package design. If the weight and dimensions of the uranium' shield differ from those specified in Technical Operations, Inc.

Drawing No. 66025, Revision B or Revision D, provide shielding analysis to-show that the package external dose rates are within the limits prescribed by'10 CFR Part 71.

4. Verify that the Operating Procedures, Acceptance Tests and Maintenance

               . Program cited in Certif_icate of Compliance No. 9033, Revision No. 7, are applicable to the Model No. 660A package design.
