Dear Mr. Chappell:
Enclosed please find six copies of the revised SAR for Certificate of Compliance number 9033. This revision incorporates a design change that requires that the 660 series projector is placed in a steel be,x for transport. As the entire SAR has been updated, I have not included a list of each specific change. In general the section have been modified to describe the addition of the steel box as an integral part of the package and its effect on compliance to 10 CFR Part 71.
A separate letter will be sont outioning our plan to get the required overpacks to the field and any necessary actions the user will have to perform.
In addition to the package change we request a name change on the certificate to reflect the new owners AEA Technology /OSA inc., as indicated in our letter dated 27 Feb 98 (copy enclosed).
