These amendment applications consist of Proposed Technical Specification Change Number NPF-10/15-494 (PCN-494), submitted to the NRC by letter dated June 12, 1998 (Referenced).
Revised Updated Final Safety Analysis Report pages are necessary to identify the programs which govern the test intervals for the turbine. The monthly test interval for onload testing of the steam valves is in the Licensee Controlled Specifications, and the 10 year inspection interval for the turbine rotors is part of the San Onofre Preventive Maintenance Program.
These test intervals are assumptions in the San Onofre Retrofit Missile Analysis Report, submitted as part of the referenced document.
