Results: The licensee was found in compliance with the NRC approved LESNM Plan. Development of the licensee's site physical security plan is progressing as scheduled.

30703 - Exit Interview The inspector met with the licensee representatives (listed in para-graph 1) at the conclusion of the review on August 8, 1985. At that time, the purpose and scope of the review and the progress of security related matters were discussed.

MC 92701 - Follow-up on Inspector Items a.
(Closed) IFI (50-423/85-30-01) - resubmittal to NRC of correction to the Suitability, Training and Qualification Plan (ST&Q) for security supervisors. The inspector confirmed by review that training tasks 2-1B and 3-1B regarding firearms qualifications for security super-vision was clarified and was resubmitted to NRC (letter dated July 2, 1985).

MC 81054 - Physical Barriers - Vital Areas During an inspection of vital area barriers conducted by the licensee, a weakness was identified with screen enclosures on a vital area.
The bar-rier material did not meet the 10 CFR 73.2 criteria.
The inspector discussed this matter with the NRf4 MSS Physical Security Licensing reviewer and the licensee on August 28,1985.
The licensee will correct the barrier weakness such that it will meet the 10 CFR 7 '

criteria and the barrier guidance criteria contained in an NRC letter to the licensee, dated December 12, 1984, subject: Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit 3 Physical Security Plan. This matter will be reviewed during a subsequent inspection and is an inspector follow-up item.
