Region III, Division of Compliance DOW CHEMICAL CCNPANY DOCKET No. 50-264 C0:III:HDI The attached report by our reactor inspector of a visitteothbc sub-ject facility on June 30, 1967 is forwarded for information. No items of noncompliance or safety significance were noted.

The issuance of an operating license for the subject facility was re-cowsended on June 30, 1967 following a visit to the site. Criticality was achieved at 9:55 a.m. on July 6,1%7 with a loading of 72 ele.nents.

The loading was performed in an orderly manner, using conservative ise-thods, and was based on good experimental predictions.
