Dear Mr. Fraley:

During the 214th meeting of the ACRS on February 9-10, 1978, I was asked to provide the Committee with a copy of the staff response to Ms. June Allen's letter to Dr. Leon Reiter regarding seismicity in the region of the North Anna site.

Attached is a copy of a letter to Ms. Allen from Mr. E. G. Case, dated February 14, 1978, which responds to her letter of January 4 to Dr.'Reiter and her letter of January 7 and her mailgram of January 9 to Mr. Case. Copies of these letters and the mailgram also are enclosed.
