CONTACT OF FT. ST. VRAIN PERSONNEL You have my permission to contact Ft. St. Vrain personnel to obtain sur-rogate, unirradiated fuel for the Study on Fission Product Release:

Transport Sabotage (Contract No. NRC-04-84-113). Please stress that co-operation in this project is voluntary.

It is my understanding that there will be no charge for the surrogate fuel, but that BCL will pay the shipping charges using funds from the above mentioned contract.

In addition, you have my permission to contact Ft. St. Vrain personnel, as necessary, to obtain information on HTGR fuel and its transport. As a courtesy to the utility personnel, please keep the number of letters and telephone conversations at a minimum.

If a trip to Ft. St. Vrain is necessary, it will require a separate letter of approval.

A possible contact would b.e the Manager of Nuclear Production, Mr. Warembourg located at the Ft. St. Vrain Site.
