SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE OCTOBER 1985 The FitzPatrick plant operated at near full thermal power for the first thirty days of the reporting period.

On October 31 the plant was operating near full thermal power with one of two transmission lines out of service for scheduled maintenance. An

. electrical disturbance following operation of a motor operated disconnect

!at an off-site substation led to a load reject situation when protective relaying tripped the. breaker on the remaining line.

At the end of the reporting period the plant was in the process of-starting up following the load reject of October 31.
