SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE REPORT MONTH: AUGUST 1997 DOCKET NO: 50-333 UNIT NAME: FITZPATRICK DATE: 9/15/1997 COMPLETED BY: YAN GAO TELEPHONE: (315)349-6353 The FitzPatrick plant remained at full power operation for most of e month of August. A down power was commenced on August 6 due to e i Standby Gas Treatment System die;harge piping was blocked by water. Piping drain line was found plugged. The drain line was cleaned and water was drained, the SBGTS was declared operable at 0030 on August 7.

On August 31, a power reduction was required to replace "A" RWR MG set tachometer.
