SUBJECT:
REQUEST FOR INVESTIGATION NO Rlli-87-09: BIG ROCK POINT in my September 4, 1987, memo sent in response to your Request for Investigation of an alleged valve tampering incident at the Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant, 1 indicated that 01 would hold your Request in abeyance until the FBI determined their course of action on this matter.
0n October 15, 1987, John Davidson, NMSS:lAT, advised OI:H0 by memorandum that the FBI has declined to investigate this incident.
Based upon that infomation and my discussions with 01 management, I want:to advise you that your Request for Investigation has been processed by Ol:Rlli and 0! Case No. 3-87-020 has been assigned.
