SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE i

FEBRUARY 1985 The FitzPatrick plant operated at near full' thermal power for the first j fourteen days of this reporting period. On February 14, 1985, the unit.

was shutdown for refueling ending cycle 6. During the shutdown while testing the turbine load unbalance circuitry, a mispositioned pressure

! transmitter isolation valve caused an' initiate signal which ultimately scrammed the plant. An evaluation for cause and corrective action =has been initiated. (See LER-85-006).

At the end of the reporting period, the FitzPatrick plant-is shutdown with startup scheduled to commence May 6, 1985.
