GENERIC RECOMMEH0ATN45 - G.tf#1A STEAM GENERATOR TUDE RUPTURE When I concurred in that memo entitled " Generic Recommendations Based Upon Review of the January 25,1982 Ginna Steam Generator Tube Rupture Event"r I tcok exception to ; tem No. 3 (a requiresient for loose parts monitoringh My prebten is thet I do not believe the recommendation is definitiva enough for implementation. $s f ar as I am concerned f actors such as sensitivity and detection capability art still open questions for these systems that we are forcing utilities to apply to the primary systses. I suppose we could do it on an "do as good as you can" basins but I have strr.mg personal reservations ts to the ef ficacy of such equipaent.
