On A1 gust 14,1980, we provided you with our SER input on Ginns for Topics II-3.A. O, and C.

Our SER input pointed out three problem areas:

s 1.

The probable maximum flood on Deer Creek could flood the site (above the level at which safety related systems are protected).

2.

The revetment in front of the discharge canal was badly deteriorated.

The revetment protects the site from high water levels during the crotable reximum surge, n

3.

No information was available on actual or design basis groundwater levels.

Those three items are either addressed in the draft version of the Ginna Integrated Assessment or in the cer.ments we transmitted by meno of May 18, 1982, from R. Vollmer to D. Eisenhut, rubject:

" Integrated Assessment Report - Ginna".

Attached is the TER provided by FRC-WESTEC which further supports the conclusions in the draft Integrated Assessment as revised by our corr.1ents presented in the May 18, 1982 mentioned above.
