This letter is in response to the C.larification of Environmental Qualification Safety Evaluation Report dated March 29, 1983. The items of concern vere (1) the justification for continued operation submittals and (2) our review of the Technical Evaluation Report for proprietary information withholding.
We have performed a review of our previous submittals for IE Bulletin 79-OlB and the SER and determined that a justification for continued opera-tion has been provided in our previous submittals for all equipment where required (note that no Category IV items were identified in the SER for Beaver Valley Unit 1).
A review of information contained in the TER previously identified by us as being proprietary has been performed by Westinghouse, owners of this informa tion.
Westinghouse has informed us that this information is still considered proprietary.
Westinghouse Af fidavit, CAW-80-31, concerning the withholding of proprietary information from public disclosure was provided with our September 3C, 1980 submittal for lE Bulletin 79-OlB.
This affidavit gg set forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public QQg disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the consider-mo ations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the Commission's
$8 regulations.
