Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 IE Bulletin 79-01B Gentlemen:
This is to inform you of the status of our investigating a method of sealing NAMCO limit switches. We will be unable to fully develop and qualify our design for sealing NAMCO limit switches for installation during the May autage.
At this time a prototype design is being developed for testing under the supervision of Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation. Testing is scheduled to take place during the period of May 7 through June 23, 1981.
Following the testing and analysis of the test results, final design and installation procedures will be developed.
It is expected that the design, procedures and material will be available by August 20, 1981.
Actual sealing will then be scheduled for the first scheduled outage of sufficient duration following the completion of the necessary design, testing and procurement activities.
Very truly yours, C. N. Dunn Vice President, Operatiens O
