Dear Mr. Chairman:
In response to the request from David Berick of your staff dated August 10, 1993, enclosed are copies of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards' National Program Review (NPR) draft and final reports for the years 1988-1992. Regional comments to the draft reports are also enclosed whenever they were submitted in written form. There were a few instances in which the comments were transmitted telephonically.
To the best of our knowledge, this submission is complete, except for the following items which we are unable to locate:
The 1990 final report for Region IV does not include the referenced
- (Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards' organizational chart).
A signed, dated copy of Region IV's response to the draft report is

unavailable for 1988.
In lieu of this document, we are providing an unsigned and' undated copy which was transmitted to us electronically by Region IV.
We believe it to be identical to the missing signed and dated final version.
Finally, it should be noted that the 1990 reports for Regions I, II, III, and IV were issued in final form without drafts.
We will provide you with the 1993 NPR data once the final reports are issued.
