Robert T. Carlson, Senior Reactor Inspector
Directorate of Regulatory Operations, Region I
R0 INSPECTION REPORT No. 50-47/72-01
USAMMRC
This facility is shutdown and there is no Special Nuclear Materials at the
site.
Security is excellent and the only possible hazard to the health
and safety of the public would be the spread of contamination; however,
there are vigorous procedures in force to prevent such an occu-rence.
There seems to be a weakness on the part of the Post Engineering Branch,
hence, the three noncompliances. This concern was expressed to Messrs.
Shebek and O'Connor at the exit interview and I am hopeful for improve-
ment in this area.
The facility is in a safe condition.
