Gentlemen:

Your application dated October 2,1981, revised a July 22, 1977 application for llatch Unit No. I regarding degraded grid voltage and provided Technical Specifications for Unit 110. 2 on the same subject. The July 22, 1977 application, as revised, for Unit tio.1 and the October 2,1981 application, as revised, for Unit lio. 2 were approved by the Division of Licensing on May 6, 1982, with the issuance of Amendment Hos. 88 and 27 to Licenses DPR-57 and NPF-5, respectively.

While the July 22, 1977 application prs:eded the fee requirements of 10 CFR 170.22, the October 2,1981 request for Unit No. 2 did not and is subject to fees. Based on information provided by the DL staff as a result of their final review of your application, a Class III fee of $4,00G is due for Unit No. 2.

The October 2,1981 request for Unit fio. 2 does not qualify as a duplicate Class I fee because the review for Unit No. 2 was basically an independent review since the Unit tio.1 review had been in progress for sometime when Unit flo. 2 was added. Therefore, it is requested that your Company remit the sum of $4,000 to our office for Unit No. 2.
