BSAR-205 By your application and affidavit, dated February 25, 1977, you submitted figure 221.54-8 and requested that it be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.
Section 2.790 (b) (ii) of 10 CFR Part 2, of the Commission's regula-tions requires that each supp6rting affidavit contain a full statement of the reasons on the basis of which it is claimed that the infomation should be withheld from public disclosure. The section further requires the statement to " address witn specificity" the considerations listed in Section 2.790 (b) (4).
Your affidavit has been reviewed in light of the aforementioned paragraphs of the regulations and it has been detemined that it contains generalized statements that do not address the considerations in Section 2.790 as required. More particularly, we are unable to concluda after review of the statements contained in your affidavit that public disclosura of the specific infomation recuested to be withheld is likely to cause substantial ham to the cen;:etitive position of the Babcock & Wilcox Company as stated in the Mfi.'a/it.
l Therefore, consideration should be given to su;plementing the present record with additional factual infomation.
If such action is takan, it is suggested that you furnish specific factual information as indicated in our letter to you, dated January 4,1977.
