Docket No. STN 50-561 Assigned R9 viewers - BSAR-205 BSAR-205 APPLICATION - AMENDMENT NO. 2
' Amendment No. 2 (responses to Q-1s) will be in on July 19, 1976.
While the material is their formal response and will be docketed, it is in the form of three separate binders containing Xerox copies of the master sheets which are in the printing procass.
Replacement PSAR
~ pages, identical to the sheets you receive on or about July 19, 1976, will be delivered to NRC on July 30, 1976. The reason for this type of submittal is that they have responded to 354 of 356 questions asked in about seven weeks elapsed time. The resultant package is between 1000 and 1500 pages, including 130 figures and tables.
In their effort to protect the original schedule, B&W felt that they wanted to get the material to NRC as soon as it was reaoy for formal submittal.
I recommend that you keep these Xerox copies intact and do not file the pages in your existing BSAR-205 volumes. The July 30, 1976 sub-mittal should be filed, after which you may discard the Xerox copies in the binders received en July 19, 1976.
B&W manpower has been busy enough writing responses to the Q-1s that they have declined my invitations during the past few weeks to discuss any specific questions that they thought they might have trouble with.
They have now stated, however, and I pass on to you as individuals, that B&W technical personnel are available and eager to discuss any Q-1 responses we feel need discussion. Do not hesitate to call me if you want a telephone conference or meeting with B&W concerning any matter under review.
