s The Babcock 5 Wilcox company has evaluated the proposed schedule for hPC review of the B-SAR-205 which you transmitted to us with your letter of April 22, 1976.
Our evaluation shows that the proposed review schedule is approximately one month longer than the schedule originally discussed between Mr. Rusche and myself last fall. hhile this schedule extension is somewhat disappointing to B5W, we accept it on the basis that it is probable that the additional time can be eliminated. We are hopeful that this can be accomplished by expeditious submittal and review of B-SAR-205 information, respectively, by our organi::ations and by a nominal reduction in the scheduled time period between issuance of the Safety Evaluation Report and the PDA.
We appreciate your comitment to advise BSW as early as possible of any area which could delay the review schedule and to promptly advise us of any significant changes to the NRC schedule. You may be assured that the Babcock 6 Wilcox Company will do everything possible to respond promptly to requests for additional infomation and in a manner which we hope will expedite the NRC review of the B-SAR-205.
In accordance with your suggestion, our B-SAR-205 Licensing Engineer has infor;aed Mr. T. H. Cox, the NRC B-SAR-205 Project Manager, that a meeting to discuss the NRC review schedule is not required at this time.
