REPORT TO THE ACRS ON THE BSAR-205 PROJECT Sixteen copies of a Report to the Advisory Comittee on Reactor Safeguards, prepared by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation in the matter of the Babcock & Wilcox Company Standard Safety Analysis Re;iort (BSAR-205), are transmitted for review by the Committee. The Report to the ACRS sutmarizes the results of the technical evaluation of the proposed BSAR-205 design perfonned by the Nuclear Regulatory Comission staff and delineates the scope of the technical matters considered in evaluating the radiological safety aspects of BSAR-205..

l Thirteen safety related issues for which our review is incomplete are discussed in the report. These issues are identified in the enclosure which is a copy of Section 1.6 of the report. Wo expect to resolve all these issues prior to the issuance of a Preliminary Design Approval.
