Dear Mr. Eisenhut:

On August 26, 1983,.the Toledo Edison Company (TED) transmitted to you the

" Evaluation of July 25-29, 1983, NRC Appendix R Audit Findings and Corrective Action Plan" (Serial No. 981). This submittal addressed the TED actions to be taken at the Davis-Besse Cuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1 (D8-1),

to ensure that adequate fire protection features wera in place prior to returning to power for Fuel Cycle 4 operation.

This letter transmits a revised Action Summary Table, which was Attachment N 2,of the subject evaluation. This revision does not reflect any changes to the body of the document. It was TED's intent to provide the Attachment 42 summary as an aid to the commitment tracking effort on your part, as well as ours. ~Therefore, the enclosed revision pages are necessary to agree with the content of the August 26, 1983 submittal.
