the requirqueants of TMI-17tudutical Specification 6.9.5.

The information in this report was reviewed and approved for une at 'DE-1 by means of the Cycle 8 Reload Desip Safety Evaluation TI-135400-009, Rev.1 dated February 1990.

Cycle 8 core aparating limits were generated using the NRC approved codes andThe methodologies defined by paterances 1 throu$1 5.

1he rod indsor, avtal power inhalanos, and W.rit tilt limits were than erre adjustad for cheervability and mammurumment uncertainties (Rafs 4, 5, and 6).

1. Permissible Region
2. Amstricted Region
3. Not Allowed Region (operation in this region is not allowed)
