FNP-0-EIP-5 VOL. 14 MAINTENANCE SUPPORT TO THE EMERGENCY PE.AN 1.0 Purpose This procedure delineates the responsibilities of the Maintenance and Instrumentation and Control (I&C) groups during emergencies at the Farley Nuclear Plant.

-Re-entry Procedures 3.0 General 3.1 Maintenance and I&C support during emergencies shall consist of but is not limited to the following actions:

3.1.1 Perform temporary and/or permanent repairs to plant systems / components in order to mitigate the effects of the emergency.

3.1.2 Perform maintenance activities associated with the recovery from-an emergency.

3.2 All personnel assigned to the Maintenance and I&C groups shall report to the Service Building Maintenance Shop in accordance with FNP-0-EIP-10, Evacuation and Personnel Accountability, in the event of an Emergency.

3.3 The Maintenance and I&C groups shall provide at least one individual from the following personnel grouy.s as required for assignment to an Emergency Repair Party for initial re-entry and repair:

Mechanical Maintenance Personnel Electrical Maintenance Personnel Instrument Maintenance Personnel 4.0 Procedure 4.1 The Maintenance Manager shall:

4.1.1 Assist the Emergency Director by selecting personnel for assignment to an Emergency Repair Party.

o VOL.'14 FNP-0-EIP-5 4.1.2 Assist the Emergency Director by planning the activities of and giving instru'ctions to members of the Emergency Repair Party.

4.1.3 With the aid of "*e Health Physics Manager, mainta.t. exposures to maintenance personnel as low as reasonably achievable l during re-entry, repair or decontamination activities which result from an emergency.

4.2 Maintenance and I&C personnel who are members of the Emergency Repair Party shall:

4.2.1 Comply with the instructions of FNP-0-EIP-14, Re-entry procedures.

4.2.2 Comply with the instructions of the Emergency Director and the Maintenance Manager.
