VOL. 14 FNP-0-EIP-2 DUTIES OF THE SHIFT SUPERVISOR 1.0 Purpose This procedure provides guidelines for the Shift Supervisor during emergency situations.
2.0 References 2.1 Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant Emergency Plan 2.2 FNP-0-EIP-26, "Offsite Notificaticn" 3.0 Procedure 3.1 The Shift Supervisor shall have the authority and responsibility to immediately and unilaterally declare an emergency and to initiate the following emergency responses during emergency situations:
3.1.1 Evaluation of the condition and determination of the appropriate emergency classification.
3.1.2 Notifications per EIP-26, "Offsite Notification" 3.1.3 Completion of initial actions delineated in applicable EIP's.
3.1.4 Establishment of initial offsite communications.
3.2 The Shift. Supervisor shall become the Emergency Director until the individual on call is contacted and shall also complete timely duties of the Emergency Director, as appropriate, prior to the E.nergency Director taking full responsibility fcr the implementation of the Emergency Plan.
