Dear Sir or Madam:

In Reference 1, Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) submitted an application for renewal of the operating license for River Bend Station (RBS) for an additional 20 years beyond the current expiration date. In an email dated February 8, 2018, (Reference 2) the NRC staff made a request for additional information (RAI), needed to complete the license renewal application review.

This letter provides a follow-up to a telephone conversation between a representative of Entergy and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Staff on February 15, 2018, regarding a due date extension for the Set 10 RAls noted in Reference 2. Currently, the RAI responses are due 30 days from their issue date. Due to the extensive research necessary to complete Set 10 responses, Entergy requests a revised due date of March 26, 2018.
