7590-01 UNII'EU STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY DOCKET NOS. 50-259/260/296 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO FAClLITY OPERATING LICENSES The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted the request of Tennessee Valley Authority (the licensee) to withdraw its February 25, 1985 application for proposed amendment to the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plan/, Units 1, 2 and 3, located in Limestone County, Alabama.

The proposed amendment would have revised the provisions in the Technical Specifications to delete Technical Specifications regarding Residual Heat Removal System interunit crosstie capability.

The Commission issued'a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment published in the Federal

~Re ister on March 27, 1985 (50 FR 12164).

By letter dated January 13, 1986, the licensee withdrew its application for the proposed amendment.

For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the application for amendment dated February 25, 1985; and (2) the licensee":s letter dated January 13, 1986, withdrawing the application for license amendment.
