DPR-52, and Amendment No. 42 to Facility Operating. License Ho.

DPR-68 issued to Tennessee Valley Authority (the licensee),

which revised Technical Soecifications for operation of the Browns Ferry Nuclear'lant, Unit Hos.

1, 2 and 3, (the facility) located in. Limestone County, Alabama.

The amendments are effective as of the date of -issuance.

These amendments change the Technical Specifications to revise a note l ecarding the acceptance cr.iteria in the startup test instructions for the

';.'.g'.; Pressure Coolant Injection and Reactor Core Isolation Cooling Systems.

The application for the amendments complies with the standards and require-

<<ents o= the Atomic Eneroy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act) and the Colilliission's r"lcs and regulations.

The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by th'ct and the Commission's rules and reoulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set fortn in the license amendments.
