81 to Facility Operating License Ho. DPR-52, and Amendment No.'5 to Facility Operating License No.

DPR-68 issued to Tennessee Ltalley'Authority (the licensee),

which revised the Technical Specificattons for operatton of the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3, located in Limestone County, Alabama.

The amendments are effecttve.as of the date of issuance.

These amendments change the Teclinical: Spectfications to add additional requi.r ements for,inspection of snubbers and seismic restraints in. response to our genertc request of.November 20, 1980 'to'll Power Reactor Licensees.

1 The application for the amendments complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954,- as amended (the Act}, and the Commission's rules and regulations.

The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commtssion's rules-and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which. are set forth in the.ltcense amendments.

Prior, public notice of these amendments was not required since the amendments.
