Auxiliary Pressurizer Spray Modification.
Dear Mr. Knighton:
The purpose of this letter is to provide confirmation that the following modifica-tions have been completed in PVNGS Unit 3 in accordance with the previous commit-ments.
The specific modifications are listed below along with a reference to the previous correspondence which initiated the commitment.
2.
The Unit 3 charging system was modified to provide power to valves CH-501 and CH-536 from a
Class 1E motor control center that does not get stripped from the bus following a safety injection actua-tion signal.
(Reference (1)).
The Unit 3 charging system was modified to provide for the auto-matic re-alignment of valves CH-501 and CH-536 on a low-low Volume Control Tank (VCT) leve3, and loss of offsite power (Reference (1)).
