Dear Alan:

Ten loggerhead turtles and three green turtles were removed, from the St. Lucie Plant intake canal during the October December quarter of 1989. One of the loggerheads was dead when removed. All live turtles were released into the ocean from Hutchinson Island. Measurements for all animals are attached.

'Female.

~Recapture. This turtle was initially captured in the Indian River Lagoon, two miles south of the Sebastian Inlet, by University of Central Florida researchers on 29JUN88. On that date it was tagged X274/X275. It was recaptured at the same location on 31JAN89 and tag BP514 was applied to the right front flipper. When was removed from the St. Lucie Plant intake canal on 22NOV89 only tags BP514 and it X275.were s

present. These tags were in good shape and left in place.
