1994, the NRC staff briefed the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) regarding the draft safety evaluation report on potential loss of spent fuel pool cooling at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station.

By letter dated December 19,

1994, the ACRS provided comments to the NRC on the draft safety evaluation.

The ACRS comments are forwarded for your information (Enclosure 1).

By letter dated December 13,

1994, Pennsylvania Power and Light Company provided comments on the draft safety evaluation.

The licensee's letter is also forwarded for your information (Enclosure 2).
