"Report to Offsite Agencies Regarding Discovery of Deceased Crocodile Not Caused by Facility Operation "This 4-Hour Non-Emergency Notification to the NRC is being made based on notifications to other government agencies per 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi).

"On February 23, 2016 at 1555 EST, the control room was notified of a deceased American Crocodile discovered in the Owner Controlled Area. Based on visual evidence and the state of decomposition, the crocodile's death was not caused by facility operations. The Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were notified on 2/23/2016 at 1615 EST.

"The Licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector."
