"On August 7, 2015 at 1420 EDT, the control room was notified of a deceased American Crocodile discovered in the Owner Controlled Area. Based on visual evidence of no physical injury or trauma and the state of decomposure, the crocodile's death was not caused by facility operations. The Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were notified.

"The licensee has notified the NRC Resident Inspector."

Notified R2DO (Masters) and NRR Endangered Species Office via email.
