decommission nuclear

Dear et all,

I am Sara Faridi, a concerned resident of the San Clemente area. I am Pro alternative energy, specifically Solar Energy. Our San Onofre Nuclear Reactor has been shut down for over a year. We believe that after the most recent disaster in Fukashima, there is reason to dismiss nuclear energy programs all together. In short, we do not need nuclear. I advocate the decommission of San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station aka SONGS of SDGE Edison Power. I request your urgency. As I am sure from your previous works in the Governors office, you hold a progressive view toward enviornmental activities. Unless you act, 8 million people are in danger.

Thank you, Sara Faridi 1046 Calle del Cerro Unit 407 San Clemente, CA 92672 949-498-2495 sarafaridi@hotmail.com PS I know your time is valuable and I appreciate you more than you know, I voted for you each and every election.

Please write or call Gov Brown and ask him t support the people of CA in our effort to coordinate the actions of these two government agencies. We demand that the NRC make no decision to restart San Onofre (SONGS) until the PUC has done it's work and made their decision as to whether it is cost effective for Californians to have to pay any more rate increases for a dangerously defective nuclear power plant. It is now time the PUC and NRC work together on the same timeline for the good of Californians and our economy.
