Subject:
[External_Sender] Holtec UMAX materials Hi Linda, There's some confusion about the materials used at the San Onofre Holtec UMAX system. The technical documents don't always clarify this and with the 72.48 process we really have no way of knowing. Since your inspectors have the information, your Region office is most likely to have the most accurate information. Is it in any of your inspection reports? If not, it would be helpful to have this documented in an inspection report to eliminate this confusion.
Carbon steel or stainless steel?
Type of carbon steel or stainless steel? Thickness of material?
CEC?
Divider shell?
MPC Guide rings?
Earthquake supports?
Canister supports at the bottom of the CEC?
Canister?
