SONGS ESA Additional Information Request.pdf
Dear Mr. Morgan,
Southern California Edison (SCE) reached out to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and specifically asked about the NRC reinitiating consultation with the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) because the current biological opinion for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) expires next year. Before the NRC staff reinitiates this Endangered Species Act consultation, the NRC staff requests responses to the attached request for additional information. Please provide your response within 30 days.
If you want a clarification call to ensure you understand the RAIs, if you need more time to respond, or if you have any questions, please contact me at 301-415-6822 or via e-mail at Amy.Snyder@nrc.gov
