Piping at the installed saddle (west) end of the excavation was relatively clean of soil Jdhering 10 the 00 of the pipe, without requiring much cleaning. The east end of the piping required use of a water spnly bailie to wet and clean off the hardened red clay-like soil adhering to the pipe 00 ro get to the pipe exterior. The pipe was coaled with a painted on protective coating. which was observed to be in very good conuition with no signs of discontinuities. peeling, separation, blistering, naking, etc.

Section of line on the south side of the Maintenance Training Facility (MTF) excavaWd as part of installation of a I-inch tic-in to supply water to the MTF. (Ref. EC 133 14). Approx. 8 FOOL length of piping was inspected. Section included a bell & spigot pipingjoinl, and new saddle for a I-inch bmnch supply to the MTF. Pipe in vel)' good condition. no deficiencies noted.
