All exposed 8-inch piping was externally coated and wrapped carbon steel. The coating and wrap was in very good condition, with NO evidence of flaking, embrittlement, separation from metal, bubbling, blistering, delamination, etc. The entire length of exposed pipe was approx. 35 feet, of which approx. 10 feet was inspected in detail. The inspected length of piping was deemed to be typical of the entire length of the excavated piping.

This inspection was an opportunistic inspection conducted during excavation ofthe excavation of the area between the IP3 RWST and Waste Holdup Tank Pit (see attached sketch from drawing 9321-F-41823, Zone G-7/9) for the Dry Cask Travel Path mod.
- 2.
Buried portions of a 6-inch FP line was also uncovered and inspected during this excavation activity. A separate inspection report documents the results of that inspection.
