Request for No-cost Extension Hi Bernie -

The period of performance on J-4242A (Technical Assistance in Support of Fire Protection Licensing Actions; Task Order 1, Project Number 15446) will expire on June 30, 2010. Due to a number of factors, including delays in the receipt of licensee response to RAIs, I expect the work to continue past June 30, and, therefore, will need a no-cost extension to this TO. While we expect to complete the remaining tasks (outlined below) by mid-to late August, to preclude the need for another extension I suggest that the period of performance be extended to September 30, 2010.

Task 1 Status

1. Oyster Creek Draft TER submitted for review and comment. Development of the Final version of the TER is pending receipt of comments.

2. Wolf Creek Received responses to RAIs; Draft TER in process.

3. Indian Point Responses to RAIs have been received, development of Draft TER to start following completion of Wolf Creek TER I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this request may have caused.
