Wolf Creek Generating Station Evacuation Time Estimate Analysis Review (EPID: L-2022-LRO-0125)
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory (NRC) staff has reviewed the updated evacuation time estimate (ETE) analysis submitted in accordance with section IV.4 of Appendix E to Title 10, Part 50 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR Part 50). NRCs staff review is intended to verify consistent application of the updated guidance contained in NUREG/CR-7002, Criteria for Development of Evacuation Time Estimate Studies, Revision 1, and does not constitute formal NRC approval of the updated ETE analysis.
As stated in NRC Letter to the Federal Emergency Management Agency dated March 13, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML23054A253), Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit 1, updated ETE analysis has been reviewed and found to be generally consistent with the guidance in NUREG/CR-7002 and, as such, was found to be complete.
