Dan, Thank you for the clarification. The HPO has previously reviewed the Salem and Hope Creek license renewal and determined that the licensing renewal will not adversely affect historic properties (See attachment). This determination is unchanged regarding the submitted draft EIS.

The purpose of this e-mail is to follow-up and confirm that the license renewal review for Salem and Hope Creek is a separate undertaking from the proposed new reactor (a.k.a. the early site permit or ESP).

My goal is to obtain comments about the license renewal draft supplemental environmental impact statement that was published in October 2010.
