FPL Letter L-2017-147 to NRC, dated August 17, 2017, Submittal of AP1000 Combined License ApplicationJ?emi-Annual Departure Report Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) submitted a Combined License (COL) Application for two AP1000 pressurized water reactor units to be located at the Turkey Point site, designated Turkey Point Units 6 and 7 (PTN 6 & 7), located in Miami-Dade County, Florida on June 30, 2009. The COL Application incorporates by reference the Westinghouse AP1000 Certified Design as described in the AP1000 Design Control Document, Revision 19. FPL submitted Revision 8 of the PTN 6 & 7 COL Application on August 26, 2016 (Reference 2). FPL submitted the semi-annual departure reports on February 22, 2017 and August 17, 2017 (Reference 3 and Reference 4).

This letter provides the 2017 annual update of the PTN 6 & 7 COL Application required by 10 CFR 50.71(e)(3)(iii) and 10 CFR Part 52, Appendix D, subsection X.B, respectively. There are no changes to Revision 8 of the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR (COL Application, Part 2) or to Parts 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 of the PTN 6 & 7 COL Application Revision 8 update.

FPL Letters dated February 22, 2017 and August 17, 2017 (References 3 and 4) stated that no additions, deletions, or changes to the Turkey Point Units 6 & 7 COL Application Part 7, Departures and Exemption Requests, were identified in either semi-annual reporting period.
